There is no passion to be found in playing small—in settling for a life that is less than the one you are capable of living.

Welcome to Life Mastery!

Work. Live. Play. These three words are used frequently in the field of real estate, when the Realtor is showing how a home can allow a person or family to do all three in an environment where they are happy and thriving. They also have a direct tie to what we are trying to do by creating a new workplace environment.

Yes, we want to work. We want to work very productively, but we also want to live. Really living means you’re not stressed all the time. You are healthy. You are eating well. Play is what we do with our breaks from work. A countless number of studies show stress is one of the leading causes of almost all illness.

Seventy percent of deaths in the Western world are caused by stress-related illnesses. We need a world where we do more than just work and die.

In the Personal Mastery and Work Mastery modules, you developed fundamental habits that have set the stage for you to live your best self both at work and at home.

In Life Mastery, we’re going to bring all of this information together in a step-by-step protocol that will help you ensure that your life is more than just working countless hours.

We’ve designed a Plan for you to implement into your life.

The changes proposed are meant to be introduced and implemented gradually in stages. We’re introducing the habits one week at a time, however you can go at the pace that makes sense for you.

Remember, it’s all about making small, consistent changes, 1% at a time.

Next week we’ll kick off the Plan with our first topic: “Start with Why”, where we’ll dive into the importance of knowing why you’d like to achieve your dreams and goals, and what that might take to create long-lasting change.

For the next 12 weeks you’ll be using The Focus Effect Workbook to work through weekly exercises to help you apply what you’re learning, so make sure to download it (if you haven’t already).

Listen to this podcast interview with leadership expert Tim Arnold on how to “Lead with And”.
